In the UAE May marks the holy month of Ramadan which is due to start on 16 May and will end on 14 June. Be sure to celebrate at a traditional Iftar feast and experience the true spirit of this special season - there’s nothing else like it!
During this time of reflection, devotion and giving it’s more important than ever to respect local culture and be mindful not to eat or drink in public during daylight hours in respect to those fasting. Businesses will operate on reduced hours during this time, so remember to check ahead. Despite this, there’s still plenty to see and do this May.
