Go back in time and explore Dubai’s past

Head downtown and go to the top

Take some time toexplore the high fashion stores, cafes, cinemas, aquarium and more. If youreally want to beat the heat put some skates on and do a few laps on the indoorice rink.
Fall for the fountains
Once the day cools head outside to see the Dubai Fountains – performances start from 6pm and run every half hour until 11pm daily. You’ll see 275m of arching water jets dance in unison to music and lights. There are daytime shows at 1pm and 1:30pm every day apart from Friday when they are on at 1:30pm and 2pm, but they’re best seen at night.
For dinner wander through the Souk Al Bahar or Boulevard and you’re bound to find a restaurant that takes your fancy. For something a little more special head to the striking Opera House and enjoy an elegant meal at Sean Connolly at Dubai Opera. Designed with a nod to the city’s nautical past, this stylish restaurant features an expansive bar and rooftop terrace with views to the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains.
