Flying tours – what you need to know
Scenic tours are usually on smaller aircraft. For example our Seawings Cessna seaplanes take just nine passengers in total and most helicopters take only five. You might even be sitting next to the pilot! Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in, flat shoes are recommended.
You still need ID
Despite being a scenic flight you will still need to bring your passport to check-in and board. Make sure you have your passport handy well ahead of your flight and check the expiry. If you're flying with us in the UAE your Emirates ID is accepted.
They’re more fun
The take-off and landing procedures will be more immersive – for example on a scenic seaplane tour you’ll get to experience a water take-off and landing. It’s much more fun than being on a big long-haul aircraft!
Don’t forget your camera
You’re going to enjoy some incredible views while flying high in the sky – glittering coastlines, stunning landscapes and city views. You’ll want to capture the moment! Make sure you bring your camera or mobile phone so that you can share your experience with friends and family after your flight.
Know where you’re going
Make sure you know where you’re going and what time you need to be at check-in. You don’t want to miss your flight! Get advice from the tour operator on how best to get there and recommended travel time. They can often arrange your transfers for you which takes the stress out of getting there. The check-in process is much quicker and way less stressful than your typical airport counter too.
